They were a little disappointed that many of the sessions were full and they couldn’t participate in what they wanted to, but they had a ton of fun! They’ll be back next year )

Haha! As long as I’m good for Circle of Women tomorrow and Laura’s supper on Sunday, I’m good. No more events or invitations for the following week.

I have tried the neti pot, I love it! (well, really I use one of those puffer things they give you in hospital when you have a baby – you know, the one for suctioning out noses)

On the tapping thing … I just got notification this morning that I’ll be receiving some money (that I wasn’t expecting). Call it coincidence, but I think I tapped it into existence!

I think you should be done with snow for now, Mary! That’s a HUGE amount of snow! How does the forecast look?

We hit CVS for 1/2 price valentine candy yesterday – Dove chocolate truffle hearts are great breakfast food!

I have GOT to try that tapping stuff. We have about 45 inches of snow on the ground, at least in the front where the sun doesn’t hit. And it is still snowing. Alex has managed to quit smoking cold turkey (for the 4th time). I’m trying to remember the poem “Snowbound” that we had to memorize in 10th grade and all I can come up with is from “The Ancient Mariner”….”water, water everywhere, nor any drop to drink.” Just substitute “snow” and I can stop wracking my brain (what’s left of it). Whoops….I had better stop with the negativity too. On the upside, dark chocolate truffles were half-price at Wal*Mart the day before yesterday, so I have a large stash of those.

I’ve never had to send a pair back, but they do free returns, if I’m not mistaken. I’ll have to take a look and make sure!

I’ve bought both the girls Heelys, I’ve bought 2 Brixton hats for myself, I’ve bought Bass shoes, KangaROOS, Asics and many others that I can’t even begin to name without a visit to my closet – and been wonderfully pleased with all of them!

I am a little leery about shoes via mail order…what happens if they don’t fit? Oh, I guess people must give them to thrift shops???? That is where I find them. LOL

That said, I got a new pair of Easy Spirit anti-gravity shoes at the local thrift (for 4 bucks!). They are not running shoes, but rather very stylish and dressy, at least when compared to the shoes I usually wear (Mary Janes like any good 6 year old). I have to be careful because of the bogus knees. They seem like great shoes, and that sale price must be a great bargain.

Update: my hands really do feel softer! I still don’t like the “feel” of the water when I’m using this product, but that just translates into a incentive to get the dishes done quickly LOL!

In conclusion, at the right price, I WOULD buy this dishwashing liquid gain.

I love the Tropicana story, Mary! And my girls still buy those awful candy dots on paper strips, you can get them at Meijer. Want some? LOL!

The Tropicana story actually reminds me of a story I have hanging up on my wall here, I think it was 1st grade when Ciel’s assignment was to write a sentence on what she would do with $100. Her story goes “If I had $100 I’d live in Washington D.C.”
